Beginning Salsa:
Wednesday’s
7:15—8.00 pm $10
For individuals with limited
Salsa dance experience. After several classes learning the
basic
steps, you will progress to the intermediate class when
prepared.
For
New
Students:Please
arrrive to beginning class by 7.00 for pre-class to learn the
progressive basic step. This will prepare you for the steps
learned during your first class.
Even
if you've danced before, it is preferred by the instructor you attend a
beginning class to review fundamentals & review dance vocabulary
before attending the
intermediate. If the beginning class is successful for you, then
simply stay for the intermediate class immediately following.
($20/both
classes)
Intermediate
Salsa:
Wednesday’s 8—9.15
1hr 15minutes with a
short beverage & practice break
For students
familiar with the
basic salsa steps. 2 new
salsa
moves are introduced every
week. (Examples: Head Duck Spins, Rotating Cross Body
Leads, Copa, Ochos, I Go, U-Go and more….)
$15 Drop
in or $50 for
4 class card ($10 monthly savings)
Intermediate Class
now features:
2
new moves each week
Review
of the prior weeks 2 new moves
Thus, a 4 move routine is learned each
week to immediately use on the Dance floor!
The
price of class will still include the open dance time after class with
the opportunity to practice with the other students, instructors &
class helpers.
Club style practice with DJ
music. Salsa Friends welcome!!!
18 & up for class, dance parties and practice.
About
the Group Classes
· All
Classes are independent and not progressive. New moves are
taught
each week. Join Anytime. New Students
welcome!
· Classes
are ongoing, each Wednesday
· Pay
at the door (exact
change preferred) each week on Wednesday,
$10/beginning
or $15/Intermediate (Intermediate Dance Card, 4 for
$50).
Dance Party Only, $5.
· No
Partner required. Students dance with the teachers, helpers
and each other.
·
Beginning: 45
minute class + practice @ 9.15 for both classes.
Intermediate:
70 minute class with 10 minute beverage and practice break
+ open practice @
9.15 for both classes.
·
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
Shoes with a
slick bottom make it easier for turns.
Some ladies
prefer heels with an ankle strap.
Ballroom shoes are
not prefered for this surface.

class & during breaks @ The Vernon for
Good Refreshments & Conversation. Guests are welcome.
